Muse is a tool for thinking and creativity. We believe creativity requires privacy, so keeping your content safe and private is a focus for our team.
The Muse app collects usage statistics, user-submitted feedback, and crash reports which are sent to our backend periodically. By using the app, you consent to our collecting and processing this data. It is used solely for the purpose of improving Muse for you and other users like you.
We use Apple, Heroku, Slack, and GitHub as subprocessors for some of this data. Beyond these, we never sell or give your data to third parties.
Your content (that is: drawings, text notes, documents—anything you create yourself in the Muse app) is kept private and encrypted on your local device. The Muse team cannot read any of your content.
This policy will evolve over time, just like the app. We'll share what we consider to be significant changes to this policy via release notes or email.
We strive to comply with the GDPR including your right of access, correction, and erasure.
